RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way of viewing and distributing news articles. The Senate Democrats’ RSS news update, called a “feed”, alerts you when new press releases are published on our Web site.
How It Works
RSS news feeds can be received by your Web browser or from a dedicated feed manager/reader (also known as an aggregator). The feed reader will collect your daily articles and manage RSS subscriptions.
Subscribing to the RSS Feed
Newer versions of most Web browsers (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Safari) will read RSS feeds on their own. If your Web browser can interpret RSS, you can manually subscribe to our feed and bookmark the page. If not, you can easily use one of many Web-based or stand-alone RSS readers (see nelow).

When using an RSS feed reader, you may be prompted to submit a feed URL. The feed URL for the Connecticut Senate Democrats’ RSS is: http://www.senatedems.ct.gov/rss/sdnews.xml. After submitting the URL, you will be subscribed to recieve our feeds.
