WHAT: Press conference to highlight over $5 million in state funding for a new wastewater infrastructure project to address flooding in the Heather Lane and Lockwood Lane neighborhood. The project will separate the combined sanitary and storm system into a separate storm draining infrastructure to help address continuous and erratic flooding in the area. The funding was recently approved by the State Bond Commission as a part of the Community Investment Fund initiative which was developed to target historically underserved Connecticut communities.
